i know how uncomfy finding the right therapist can be
a good relationship with your therapist has been shown to make a world of difference in the healing journey, but knowing when you're working with the right person is tricky! It’s like trying on boots till you find the ones that fit with your needs, your personality, your style, and your finances. Maybe part of you is wondering if you really need the new boots anyway.
Whether you’re wanting to work through life-interrupting anxiety, a seemingly impossible to conquer negative body image, a desire to reshape your relationship to food, or something you aren't quite able to identify yet- I’m here to be a support as you walk towards a life you love. Reach out when you're ready and see if we might be a good fit!
hi, i’m kim
LAPC, (she/her)
I love getting the opportunity to walk beside my clients as they work through this journey of healing and restoration. I am honored to hold both the beauty and pain of life with someone until they are ready and able to hold it all on their own. Getting to encourage them as they move towards their feelings, work through their pain, and emerge into life that is full and embodied and reawakened.
The journey of therapy is not always easy; it may hurt more before it gets better. This is why it’s important to have someone who can meet you where you are and offer a safe space to unload. My hope is to be what the best therapists are to me: open, nonjudgmental, curious, and kind, so therapy can be that safe space where you can feel seen and heard. Even if that idea feels a bit too vulnerable to start.
